Overview

Bite Insight+ is a premium subscription service that unlocks enhanced features within the Bite Insight application.

These Subscription Terms supplement our general Terms and Conditions. By subscribing, you agree to both these Subscription Terms and our general Terms.

Subscription plans

We offer the following subscription options:

  • Monthly plan — billed monthly with no long-term commitment.
  • Annual plan — billed annually at a discounted rate.
  • Both plans provide access to all Bite Insight+ premium features.

Current pricing is displayed within the App before purchase. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice.

What’s included

Your Bite Insight+ subscription includes access to all premium features.

  • Detailed ingredient analysis and safety ratings.
  • Personalised health insights based on your profile.
  • Advanced allergen detection and cross-reference checking.
  • Unlimited product scanning history.
  • Priority access to new features and updates.
  • Ad-free experience throughout the App.

Features may be updated from time to time. We will notify subscribers of any significant changes to the included features.

Free trial

We may offer a free trial period for new subscribers.

If a free trial is available, the terms will be clearly displayed before you subscribe. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan unless you cancel before the trial expires.

Important: You will not be charged during the free trial period. Make sure to cancel before the trial ends if you do not wish to continue.

Billing & payment

Subscriptions are processed through your app store provider.

  • Apple App Store for iOS devices.
  • Google Play Store for Android devices.
  • Stripe for web-based subscriptions.

Payment will be charged to your account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to premium features until your current period expires.

  • iOS — Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Bite Insight+.
  • Android — Go to Google Play Store → Subscriptions → Bite Insight+.
  • Web — Go to your account settings within the Bite Insight website.

Please note: Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through your app store or account settings.

Refunds

Refund policies are governed by your app store provider.

For subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refund requests must be submitted directly to the respective store. For web-based subscriptions processed through Stripe, please contact us at hello@biteinsight.app within 14 days of purchase.

Price changes

We may change subscription prices from time to time.

If we increase the price of your subscription, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. The new price will take effect at the start of your next billing period following the notice. If you do not agree with the price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

Account sharing

Your Bite Insight+ subscription is for your personal use only.

Subscriptions are tied to your individual account and cannot be shared, transferred, or used by multiple people. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be sharing subscription access.
